Winespoint rating: 90/100
Varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot; Alc. by Vol.: 14.5%.
Fruity and full-bodied. Dominant flavors of blackberries, sweet nose followed by vanilla and chocolate taste. Spiciness and slightly tannic still but I do not mind. The wine is kind of a sweet, maybe lacking the balance slightly though it is a very nice effort and very good wine from Bulgaria. A thick, fruity and jammy wine that will please full-bodied wine drinkers who enjoy Cabernet Sauvignon with Merlot on oak. Given the price I would definitely approach this wine again. I feel it is worth 90. Also a herb characters shows up on the nose, very inviting. Compared to other e.g. Bordeaux wines this wine lacks the silkiness in the way that it is rough It is a great fruity new world wine from Bulgaria but cannot provide more on the sophistication.
A very solid fruity full-bodied wine from Bulgaria for a very friendly price.
